1. How long have you been doing CrossFit?
This will be my second year. I was introduced to CrossFit in 2010 after having my son. I did CrossFit for a whole year before relocating to Texas and I started CFV in 2021.

Any 1 rep max workout. The power in pushing myself to go a little heavier and challenge my body to follow thru is awesome.

The power is snatch. It works all my favorite muscles.
4. Why do you do CrossFit?
I have a love/hate relationship with the variety. I love having it, but sometimes the anxiety of the unknown sets in right before I start working out.

Pasta Carbonara
6. What has CFV helped you do, achieve, overcome, etc?
I'm stronger and I'm overcoming some of my anxieties through specific movements: an example is GHD sit-ups are helping me with my anxieties associated with heights and just not being planted on the ground. It's empowering me in other areas of my life.
7. If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, who would it and why?
My grandfather, he was the family patriarch and I'm certain he had a number of life lessons to pass onto all of us. He was a firm but loving role model for the entire family.

Murder on the Orient Express, Live Action Beauty and the Beast, anything Marvel
9 What makes you the happiest?
Seeing my children happy and prospering.
10. Anything else you want to add about CFV, CrossFit, or yourself?
I'm so glad I was able to find such a great CrossFit home. Not all CrossFit organizations are as welcoming which is why it's taken me so long to get back to it.
