1. How long have you been doing CrossFit?
January will be 1 year with CrossFit Virilis. Prior to Virilis I worked out at my former company's CrossFit Box.
2. What's your favorite workout?
Anything that involves an assault bike
3. What's your favorite movement?
I'd have to go with the push press.
4. Why do you do CrossFit?
I do CrossFit to challenge myself everyday. Every crossFit workout that I have ever done has always kicked my butt, and I like that. Being able to do a workout 1 week and come back the next and see the improvement that is possible if you stick with it. We should always strive to do hard things because If you want something you've never had, You must be willing to do something you've never done.
5. What meal could you eat every day for the rest of your life?
I love sandwiches so I would have to say a club sandwich from ThunderCloud Subs.
6. What has CFV helped you do, achieve, overcome, etc?
CFV has helped me to keep my mind focused on working out and moving in general. As someone who works from home, its really easy to not get much movement in or just stay home. CFV is that little voice in my head that says "Hey get up and go workout."
7. If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, who would it be and why?
My grandfather. I would love to ask more questions about his life so that I can better tell his story. He was sick for a long time so we didnt get to speak with him that much towards the end of his life. Being able to ask him questions and hear his experiences to pass along to the rest of the family I feel would be a good thing.

- Interstellar
- Midnight in Paris
- Avengers End Game
9. What makes you the happiest?
Just hanging out with my friends and family.
10. Anything else you want to add about CFV, CrossFit, or yourself?
I know there are a lot of people intimidated to go to the gym, and going to a crossFit gym is probably even more terrifying. CFV has eliminated those fears of me embarrassing myself trying to do a certain lift, or make a specific time during a workout. Everyone has been super welcoming and great partners to workout with. There are no egos and the coaches have been nothing but the best. Being told that its ok to modify, might be the best workout advice I have ever received. Thank you to all the coaches and athletes for all you do.
